BIO
Ban Hatton is an alternative-country singer songwriter from Richmond Virginia. He began songwriting in 2014, releasing a solo EP in December of that year, with a follow up full length album Walls in the summer of 2015. In the winter of 2018, Ban went back into the studio, and created the most recent full length release Over Too Easy, his strongest effort to date, professionally recorded in Richmond Virginia with a team of studio and session musicians.
Each album has been independently managed and released, and each has garnished praise from numerous publications, being compared to such artists as Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and and Sturgill Simpson.
Today Ban continues to write songs for more upcoming projects, is in the process of building an at home rehearsal space and studio, and is booking a U.S. tour for late summer 2019.

“There is an honesty and sincerity found in Ban Hatton’s songs that I find endearing and inspirational. Where some artists leave you feeling as though they are creating music more for their audience than themselves, Ban Hatton successfully creates a sound that feels both personal and more like a diary entry than a song for the public.” -Vents Magazine
